| Caz has held the position of President since 2005. Following her early career in the Commonwealth public service, and then both secondary and tertiary teaching and administration, Caz first formally represented parent interests when she chaired the YMCA of Central Australia's Childcare Centre Accreditation Committee in 1996. On moving to Adelaide in 1997, she joined the Management Committee of her son's kindergarten and then the St Joseph's Memorial School's Parent Group where she served a 2 year term as President. First elected to the Council of the Federation of Catholic School Parent Communities (SA) in 1999, Caz has served terms as Vice President (2001 - 2004) and President (2004 - 2006) and continues to be an active Council member. In the national arena, Caz was elected Senior Vice President of the Australian Parents Council in 2003 and served in that role until September 2005 when she was first elected President. Professionally, Caz holds formal qualifications in the arts, teaching and psychology and consults in the areas of organisational development and change, leadership, executive coaching and research. Caz also chairs the Rostrevor College Board, is President of the YMCA of South Australia and a director of YMCA E-Store P/L. |
