Dan Harrison wrote in The Age on 5 February that a confidential report has cast further doubt on the reliability of financial data to be published on the revamped My School website. The report, by accounting firm Deloitte, identifies 23 issues that could lead to data being misstated or are likely to prevent fair comparisons between schools and, he said, highlights the enormous difficulty of comparing school finances because of the different ways in which such information is collected and reported.
