Di has spent all her working life engaged in the employment and vocational education sectors within government, private and community service settings. Now self-employed, Di and her husband own a Mail Plus franchise and Di also operates a consultancy service in the vocational training sector. Di's daughter was educated at an Independent School in Brisbane and she first became involved in the Queensland Independent Schools Parents Council (QISPC) in about 2006 through being a committee member of her school's P&F. Di is very passionate about the place independent schools have in the education sector. She is just as passionate about supporting parents in independent schools to be engaged in their children's education and to have a strong voice that celebrates and represents the diversity of schools in the sector. |
